I’ve been on a real sushi tear lately and have been stopping by my local grocery store at least a couple times a week to pick up a vegetable roll and, if I’m lucky, my fave – unari.
I was tired tonight, though. I worked late, my boss is in town, just getting over a cold – all the reasons we are all a little tired sometimes.
So, I decided to finally try to make sushi on my own. I was intimidated, but it was so easy!
And the best part of making something you love yourself is you’re free to use all your favorite ingredients, even untraditional ones. 🙂
4.5 TBS rice vinegar
¼ cup tamari
TBS sesame seeds
2 garlic cloves, grated
2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
¼ tea crushed red pepper
I bought nori a couple of weeks ago, so it worked out nicely. Now, I’m tucked away with a book and my dog on my lap.
Happy I’m Not Aftaid of That Anymore! 🙂
Good luck in your next endeavor!
